Living Naturally Awarded Electronic Ordering Patent
Venice, Fla. – Living Naturally announced the award of a patent from The United States Patent and Trademark Office for Electronic Ordering, Inventory Management and Shelf Scanning. The patent application was originally filed in 2001.
“The award of this patent recognizes our original innovation in the electronic ordering space over five years ago. Living Naturally is in a very high innovation phase at this time, and we are very excited about the various ways we are helping to empower retailers and suppliers to compete with the mass market in the natural category,” commented Living Naturally CEO David Knaggs.
“It is remarkable to see how Living Naturally is providing such progressive solutions to the core of our industry for an affordable price. These advancements are helping the industry to stave off competition from the mass market and to remain strong. With more than 2,000 natural product stores already in their network and a high customer acquisition rate, I believe that Living Naturally will play an increasingly important role in keeping our industry strong well into the future,” said leading industry consultant Danny Wells.
“It is important for our customers, employees and shareholders to secure the intellectual property of the organization in an appropriate manner. This patent award substantially adds to the asset base and market position of the company. On a go forward basis, we will continue to protect the assets of the company as we introduce some exciting new products to the industry,” said CJ Lett III, Managing Partner with Living Naturally.
Living Naturally develops and markets two products that are relevant to this patent award – Scan Genius™, the most widely used retail electronic ordering system in the natural health sector, and Sales Genius™, an in-field electronic ordering and sales management system that is now being rolled out to the industry.
